FACULTY OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
FUNCTIONS:
Faculty of Information Technologies is the administrative unit of the university. The organization of the faculty includes: the Faculty Board, the Science - Training Council, sections and laboratories. Faculty is the unit performing the tasks of training, scientific research, direct management of staffs, lecturers and students of the faculty.
MISSIONS:
The faculty of information technologies has the following missions:
- Developing curriculum and lesson plans, organizing the implementation, managing the training process of the sections, majors of the faculty and controlling other educational activities in the school's general curriculum and plans;
- Organizing science and technology activities, proactively exploiting domestic and foreign cooperation projects; monitoring and directing the implementation of state and ministerial-level research projects, managing university level projects and research projects under contracts of scientific services; organizing scientific research; participating in the development of enrollment scale.
- Implementing political, ideological and ethical education for staffs and lecturers; organizing courses to constantly improve their staffs’ professional qualifications and skills to meet the requirements of industry.
- Compilating and evaluating textbooks, referefences for courses in the curriculumn.
- Instructing final-year students to register for graduation classes and write specialized essays and graduation thesis; organizing examinations, tests and graduation thesis assessing council and assessing the learning results of students and students trained by the faculty;
- Managing and using assets, equipment and supplies effectively, buying or receiving from different sources according to the general regulations of the State and the school's specific guidelines;
- Managing students (receiving new students, managing their learning, considering and granting scholarships, commendating, disciplining, discontinuating, transferring, assessing the process of practicing moral character ethics and expertise of students, ...) and ensuring political security and order security among students.
- Conducting periodic assessment of officials in the department to classify, arrange jobs to meet high requirements of training and scientific research.
